Mario grew up with a nominal Christian upbringing in Bulgaria, which he describes as culturally significant but lacking a deep personal connection with God. His move to Amsterdam for his bachelor’s degree led to a period of what he calls “freedom” – marked by partying, alcohol, and exploration of drugs – which ultimately left him feeling depressed, anxious, and unfulfilled. One morning after a night of partying Mario felt empty. That morning he felt the Holy Spirit leading him to commit to his faith and leave his old life behind. Immediately Mario searched and found the Bible App. He began reading the Bible, and started the Bible in Six Months Plan. Mario started attending church, and growing in his faith. Mario’s friends and family have all noticed a change and say that he is a new person. Mario is now about to start a new semester of film school in Rome and is excited to share his faith using the skill that God has given him.
