Iglesia Cristiana Biblica Evangelica was having a VBS when Joshua walked in the door. Joshua is blind and uses a cane or another person to help guide him while he walks. The VBS workers helped Joshua find his seat as they started VBS, when it was time for the activity, Joshua could not participate, so they had to think of an activity on the fly so that Joshua could still take part. One of the workers remembered the Bible App for Kids. She downloaded the app and Joshua began to listen. His face lit up and he was smiling from ear to ear. After the first story Joshua heard, he asked for another, then another. He loved how the stories were being told. Joshua went home and told his family about his amazing experience at VBS. The next day Joshua’s father accompanied him to VBS. Amazed at the love and engagement his son was experiencing, he started to ask more questions about Jesus. On that day, Joshua’s father gave his life to Christ and the VBS workers showed him how to download the Bible App and the Bible App for Kids for Joshua. Since this happened, Joshua and his family have now gotten involved in the local church and are happy to share the app with others so that they can hear about Jesus too!
