Eric’s story is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do as Content Partners.

Every day, people open the Bible App carrying real burdens. And in those moments, God meets them through His Word.

Eric experienced that firsthand: 

“I was laid off in May 2025. My resume wasn’t getting picked up anywhere. I knew that God had a plan for me, but I was frustrated and approaching things the wrong way. Looking back, I don’t think I really believed that His plans were perfect, considering the situation I was in.

Through Guided Scripture and Bible Plans in the Bible App, the Holy Spirit went to work on me. I began to pray differently—praising God and thanking Him as my Creator, Provider, and, most importantly, my Savior. I begged God to fill my heart with His Spirit, take on my burdens, and use me to bring glory to Him. God really opened my eyes, and I started to see Him at work in every aspect of my life. With each job rejection, I knew with confidence that God needed me somewhere else. Instead of feeling discouraged, I praised Him for closing doors that weren't in His plans for me.

After several months, I accepted a job offer! All praise and glory go to God, and I pray that my relationship with Him continues to grow.”
