February’s Publishing Tip

February 16, 2026

Every day, millions of people open the Bible App because they want to spend meaningful time in God’s Word. For some, that journey begins with a short devotional. For many others, it looks like something longer: a steady rhythm of Scripture over weeks, months, or even an entire year.

That’s why this month’s publishing tip is an invitation to create long-form Bible Plans.

Long-form Plans—30, 60, 90, 100, or even 365 days—help people build consistency over time. They provide a deeper sense of progression, a clearer discipleship pathway, and an opportunity for Scripture to shape daily life through repeated engagement. The truth is that people are hungry for the truth of God’s Word more than ever before, and longer Plans are an opportunity to help people go deeper.

Our data shows that around 40% of Plan Day completions are coming from longer Bible Plans, especially year-long Plans, even though these make up less than 1% of our current Plan library.

Longer Plans don’t need to feel overwhelming. When well structured, they become a steady companion, guiding people through themes such as the life of Jesus, chronic illness, infertility, the storyline of Scripture, prayer, divorce, grief, and spiritual growth, to name a few. These Plans often become the ones people return to day after day because they offer a clear next step and a lasting sense of direction.

If you’re considering publishing a long-form Plan, here are a few ways to start:

  • Choose a clear, sustainable theme that can carry across many days
  • Keep daily readings focused and Scripture-centered
  • Build a consistent rhythm so readers know what to expect each day
  • Think of the Plan as a journey that helps them remain in God’s Word over time, especially during some of life’s toughest seasons
